چکیده

Solar photocatalytic technology based on semiconducting materials has gained the attention of scientific community to solve energy crisis and environmental remediation. Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs) are a subfamily metal–organic (MOFs) with isomorphic topologies zeolites coordinative compositions MOFs. Owing high specific surface areas, tunable channels thermal stabilities, zeolitic have been used in catalytic applications. In this paper, ZIF-8 was as matrix synthesize 0D/2D heterojunction photocatalysts, viz., ZnO/C3N4-x% (x = 2.5, 5 10), for degradation study rhodamine B (RhB). The synthesized composite were characterized using FTIR, PXRD, UVDRS, PL, TEM, BET analyses. TEM images showed nearby contacts between ZnO C3N4 hybrid uniform distribution nanosheet, thus increasing development heterojunction. system ZnO/C3N4-5% (ZCN-5) good activity RhB under sunlight. A possible mechanism improved ZnO/C3N4 is also suggested. This exploratory demonstrates effective separation migration photo-induced electron–hole pairs 2D sheet 0D performance photocatalysts.

Sulfur-Doped Carbon Nitride Polymers for Photocatalytic Degradation of Organic Pollutant and Reduction of Cr(VI).

As a promising conjugated polymer, binary carbon nitride has attracted extensive attention as a metal-free and visible-light-responsive photocatalyst in the area of photon-involving purification of water and air. Herein, we report sulfur-doped polymeric carbon nitride microrods that are synthesized through thermal polymerization based on trithiocyanuric acid and melamine (TM) supramolecular agg...

Fabrication of Au/ZnO nanoparticles derived from ZIF-8 with visible light photocatalytic hydrogen production and degradation dye activities.

A facile two-step strategy was developed to fabricate yellow fluorescent glutathione-Au nanoclusters/zeolitic imidazolate framework-8 nanoparticles (GSH-Au NCs/ZIF-8 NPs) and their derived Au/ZnO NPs, which exhibited visible light photocatalytic hydrogen evolution together with degradation of Rhodamine B (RhB).

Local transformation of ZIF-8 powders and coatings into ZnO nanorods for photocatalytic application.

Silver nitrate induces spontaneous room temperature transformation of ZIF-8 into a composite of ZnO nanorods embedded in a ZIF-8 matrix. This first example of reverse transformation of ZIF-8 into ZnO is a convenient method for generating fixed ZnO nanoparticles in powders as well as films and coatings. The fabricated ZnO nanorod@ZIF-8 is photocatalytically active.

Perovskite-structured CaTiO3 coupled with g-C3N4 as a heterojunction photocatalyst for organic pollutant degradation

A novel graphitic carbon nitride (g-C3N4)-CaTiO3 (CTCN) organic-inorganic heterojunction photocatalyst was synthesized by a facile mixing method, resulting in the deposition of CaTiO3 (CT) nanoflakes onto the surface of g-C3N4 nanosheets. The photocatalytic activity of the as-synthesized heterojunction (along with the controls) was evaluated by studying the degradation of an aqueous solution of...
